This guide helps new users quickly understand and start using the Dharini platform without external support. Please read the sections relevant to your role and follow the steps as you use the platform.
Introduction
Section titled “Introduction”Dharini is a mobile-first digital platform built to manage end-to-end environmental field sampling workflows. It replaces manual, paper-based processes with a guided digital system that ensures accuracy, traceability, and accountability.
By using Dharini, organizations can:

Dharini is designed for use by Field Collectors, Lab Technicians, and Project Admins, all working together on a single connected platform.

User Roles

Project admins use the management portal to oversee operations and manage users. They can:
- View live dashboards with sampling locations and KPIs
- Create and assign projects to teams
- Monitor sample status across all stages

Field collectors use the Dharini mobile application to collect samples and record site information directly from the field. They can:
- View assigned visits and sites
- Collect samples with GPS and timestamp tracking
- Work offline and sync when connected

Key Logic & Guardrails
Section titled “Key Logic & Guardrails”Dharini enforces strict rules to maintain data quality:
Mandatory Fields
Section titled “Mandatory Fields”Submissions cannot proceed without GPS, timestamp, site, and collector ID.
Duplicate Prevention
Section titled “Duplicate Prevention”QR codes cannot be reused for the same location and time window.
Sync Status Visibility
Section titled “Sync Status Visibility”Clear labels show data status:
- Saved – Data is stored locally on the device
- Pending Sync – Data is waiting to be uploaded to the server
- Synchronized – Data has been successfully uploaded
Audit Trail
Section titled “Audit Trail”Every change, edit, and status update is logged for compliance and accountability.
Support Best Practices
